The traditional Korean confectionery shop is run by Chef Shin Yong-il, who trained in both French pastry and Korean cuisine. Here, you can enjoy a new take on Korean sweets that combines modern and traditional methods. The restaurant offers a variety of bite-sized traditional sweets, such as juak, a sticky rice cake made with rice wine and deep-fried and dipped in sugar syrup; jeungpyeon, a fermented and steamed chewy rice cake; and baked yakgwa, which is made by baking instead of frying.
